These are simple, good fire juggling torches. A wooden handle, a metal shaft, a flat wick on top. Just a perfectly balanced torch that does exactly what a torch needs to do. I've been juggling with these fire clubs for years and I love them. Well balanced, sturdy, they take the abuse of regular practice and shows for years.
Now the confession: these fire juggling torches are the only product in our fire catalogue we don't make ourselves. Everything else here comes out of our own workshop.
We actually tried to make our own version with braided wicks, same as we do for our poi and our staff. The wick came out too heavy, and the flame it gave was too big for juggling. A torch needs a wick that burns light and stays controlled, especially if you're going to do contact tricks or many sessions in the same night. So we dropped that idea and went back to selling the version that already works.
Fire Safety
Always let the product dry completely before use. It is shipped wet for safety reasons. A damp piece burns slowly and unpredictably. Always test a small piece first before performing.
Start small. A little goes a long way. The larger the piece, the larger and less controlled the flame.
Store in a sealed airtight container, away from heat, open flames and direct sunlight. For long-term storage, the freezer is your best option. Always label the container clearly.
Never perform with fire alone: a dedicated safety assistant and a ready-to-use fire blanket are non-negotiable.
