Our custom-made Meteor are designed for maximum comfort, tailored to your size. The simple spliced 8 mm Technora rope is the best choice, offering the perfect balance of durability and flexibility. It's also smooth and will slide through your hand with ease.
The meteor is somewhere between techniques from poi and staff. Think extremely long poi or a super floppy staff. It has its own movement vocabulary, built around figure-eights spinning, wraps, throws, and .even contact moves for the more advanced users.
Pro Tip
We recommend using Practice Heads to protect your fire heads and ensure you're practicing with the same weight and rope as the real deal. Switching between practice and fire heads takes just 30 seconds!
Sizing
When selecting your rope dart length, make sure to include the total length of the rope, which includes both heads, in cm. If you plan on adding knots to the rope, each knot will remove about 5 cm from the total length.
Generally, the length should match your extended arm length, which is typically the same as your height.

Isis (normal 170 gr or XL 200 gr):
This classic head has a fast aerodynamic shape, making it perfect for speed and performance. It produces big flames and a long burn time!Gorilla:

Fire Safety
Soak 90% of the head, let the rest absorb naturally. Never soak longer than 2–3 seconds. If fuel drips from the wick, it's already too much. Even on the first burn.
Never let the meteor burn without moving for more than 10–15 seconds. Technora can handle fire well while in movement.
Don't store your leash together with wicks that could still be soak in combustible. It could transfer and the Technora could light up at the next burn.
Never perform with fire alone: a dedicated safety assistant and a ready-to-use fire blanket are non-negotiable.
