The hottest prop in our shop is finally here: Fire Nippies for your boldest burlesque acts. Made with quality leather, thin Technora rope, and 100% pure Kevlar wick, they're durable and burn for about 2 minutes with a steady, manageable flame.
One of our team members is a burlesque performer who couldn't find a reliable design. So we spent 2 years testing materials and making prototypes. Sticky silicone options didn't hold up for very long. Body tape proved to be the best and most secure choice.
Each pair comes with a roll of body tape, enough for around 25 uses. When you run out, you can restock from us (select "tape only" in the options) or find it in lingerie shops, pharmacies, beauty stores, or online.

A bit of history
Fire Nippies were created in the 1960s by Satan's Angel, the Devil's Own Mistress and Queen of the Fire Tassels. She toured the world and left a lasting mark on burlesque before passing away in 2019. Read about her here.
Warning
This prop is not for beginners. You need solid fire experience and good technique with the nippies before going with fire. Once lit, they must be kept in motion at all times. Always perform with a trained safety person nearby and a fire blanket ready.

Fire Safety
Soak 90% of the head, let the rest absorb naturally. Never soak longer than 1 second. If fuel drips from the wick, it's already too much. Even on the first burn.
Never let the nippies burn without moving. You have to be moving all the time and you need to practice a lot with the prop before putting it on fire.
Never perform with fire alone: a dedicated safety assistant and a ready-to-use fire blanket are non-negotiable.
