Hoop Wicks
Fire hoop wicks - The most durable you can find and 100% Kevlar wick. FIts for polypro or HDPE, 16mm or 19mm hoops. Sold per unit, 32 €.
If it's time to set your hoop on fire, we're here for it. These wicks mount and dismount on any 16 or 19 mm hoop via a hose clamp, with just a screwdriver.
This is probably one of the hardest fire props to design properly. It needs to be light, not too flexible, not too close to the tube, and strong enough to handle heavy drops and full-speed drags on the floor. The metal structure is hand-crafted by an expert welder.
We've been making these wicks for 5 years and we're proud of the balance we have. Thanks to the cable we use, they are very resilient and can take a lot of drops. It's slightly more flexible than other options. Regularly, hoopers come to us and say they are the most durable hoop wicks on the market. Thanks for the support and feedbacks !
We pair it with our classic Monkey Fist wick, giving a strong flame that lasts for 3 to 4 minutes, built for long-term use. The stainless steel cable is slightly flexible. This makes it much more durable than a fully rigid version, even if it takes a bit of time to get used to.
You can remove and reinstall the fire attachment on your hoop as many times as you want. All you need is a screwdriver.

Fire Safety
Soak 90% of the head, let the rest absorb naturally. Never soak longer than 2–3 seconds. If fuel drips from the wick, it's already too much. Even on the first burn.
Never let the hoop burn without moving for more than 10–15 seconds. The hoop could melt, especially if made of Polypro.
Use a plastic glove to squish the wicks with your hands to remove the excess of fuel.
Never perform with fire alone: a dedicated safety assistant and a ready-to-use fire blanket are non-negotiable.
