Rope dart
Fire rope dart - Technora lead spliced into Dyneema, 100% Kevlar Isis heads. 7–10 min burn, stainless steel hardware. Beautiful colour ropes. From 38 €.
Our rope darts are built for durability and strength. The Technora lead provides strong flame resistance, spliced into Dyneema, one of the strongest and softest ropes available. The heads are made from 100% pure Kevlar, offering higher abrasion resistance than fiberglass-blended Kevlar. Each dart is finished with a spliced noose knot to keep the dart secure on your wrist.
We recommend pairing your fire heads with practice heads to avoid unnecessary damage during training.
⚠ Important: The Dyneema part of the leash is NOT fire resistant. Do not leave flames near it, even briefly. It can melt fast.
We also offer practice rope darts fully made of dyneema rope, they are super cheap to start with : Dyneema Practice Dart
After long development, we now offer rope dart builds made to handle heavy stress and powerful shots. We use #9 swivels, stainless steel quicklinks, and welded stainless steel eyebolts secured inside the heads. Both Technora and 6 mm Dyneema used in this setup are strong enough to drag a car.

Fire Safety
Soak 90% of the head, let the rest absorb naturally. Never soak longer than 2–3 seconds. If fuel drips from the wick, it's already too much. Even on the first burn.
Never let the rope dart burn without moving for more than 10–15 seconds. Technora can handle fire well while in movement.
Don't store your leash together with wicks that could still be soak in combustible. It could transfer and the Technora could light up at the next burn.
Never perform with fire alone: a dedicated safety assistant and a ready-to-use fire blanket are non-negotiable.
