A rope dart is a weighted head on a long rope that you throw, catch and wrap around your body. Full body workout, super fun, meditative, and still a fairly new prop even to the flow arts world.
Ideal to get started. Made with 8 mm cotton rope. Built to keep things simple.

8 mm cotton rope — Soft. Flexible. Comfortable.
Length: 370 cm — works for most users. Good range for wraps, shots, groundwork.
You can shorten it easily. Wrap the excess around your wrist using the end knot. Finished with a noose knot : easy wrist attachment, fast setup.
A few hours in and you're already doing things that look impressive. Your coordination and spatial awareness develop fast, almost without noticing. And unlike a lot of props, there's so much left to explore !
