Made to order, hand-braided in our workshop. Lead time up to two weeks, we don't always have every color in stock. Like everything in the Woven Collection, each staff is made in the color combination of your choice, and no two come out the same. The combinations are genuinely beautiful, the kind of prop that makes you want to train. The Thai Staff has long wicks at each end and is built for very fast spinning. The 115 cm is the original length and works great for double staff, the 140 cm also suits contact moves and a slightly slower pace.

For those who like to go fast. The 115 cm is the reference length for Thai style, the 140 cm offers a bit more versatility if you also want to explore contact moves. For those who perform choreographies with our Thai Staff and want something identical to train with, or to adapt their act into a non-fire version.
The real reason to get one
You don't want to train on your fire gear every day. Black marks, wicks wearing down with every drop, all of that. This exists so you can put in the hours without the cost. But honestly, a lot of people end up preferring it to their fire version, not for practical reasons, just because it's beautiful and it makes them want to train.

How it's built
The tube is 16 mm aluminium 7075-T6. Light, stiff, and after years of serious and repeated drops we've never seen one bend. The ends are reinforced with a denser braiding to handle the impacts.
The tennis grip is comfortable and durable, the reference choice for this type of staff. Developed over decades by an industry much bigger than ours for a very similar application.
The braided rope is chosen for its durability and because it looks great. It's what makes each staff unique, and it's the first thing you notice when you pull it out of your bag.
Built to exactly the same dimensions as our Fire Thai Staff, so there's nothing to adjust when you move to the fire version and you really have an identical prop.

All our props are made by hand in our workshop in France. Our team can make pretty much anything you can think of.
