Thai Staff
Thai fire staff - long double-wicked staff for spinning and throwing. Handmade Kevlar wicks. Perfect for traditional fire arts. From a beach in Thailand. 159 €.
Do you like big flames and fast spinning? Here you go. Recommended for experienced fire spinners only.
The long version works for classic staff spinning and contact moves if you like fire close to your body. Wait at least 1 minute after lighting so the flame intensity drops.
The short version is the original Thai length. Perfect for double Thai staff, throws, and ultra-fast spinning styles.
We have a beautiful practice version of this, custom made with your choice of colors : Braided practice Thai Staff
Inspired by Thai and Burmese fire spinners performing on the touristic beaches of Thailand. They spin staffs even lighter than our version at incredible speed. They throw it to each other at more than 20 meters distance, a really unique and technical show. Extreme speed. Massive fire circles. Pure visual impact.
The ends are reinforced with dense braiding for durability. Silicone shields near the grip protect your hands from flame climbing the tube.
ImportantKeep it moving. Do not leave the staff burning on the ground for more than 10–20 seconds. Stopping too long overheats silicone and skin.

Grip Information
Tennis Grip
Simple. Classic. Hard to beat. Originally designed for tennis, it matches perfectly the needs of flow arts. It feels great in the hands. Good grip with real comfort.
Silicone Tape
We use it to cover exposed metal near the flames. It's a key safety element. With this special silicone, touching hot metal by mistake becomes much less likely. We use it on all our fire staffs. One golden rule of fire prop building: as little exposed metal as possible. It handles fire as long as it keeps moving. Do not leave it burning on the ground. More than 10 seconds in place and it will degrade fast. In motion, heat dissipates better and the silicone can last for many years.
Custom
All our fire props are made by hand in our workshop in France! Our team of expert artisans can make pretty much anything you could think of.

Fire Safety
Soak by pouring fuel on the wick directly, above a fuel recipient. Wick pointing at the floor, start by pouring the top part (handle side). It's easier not to waste with a squishy bottle.
Never let the staff burn without moving for more than 10-15 seconds. Silicone can handle fire well while in movement.
The flame of long braided wicks can feel a bit intense for beginners.
Never perform with fire alone: a dedicated safety assistant and a ready-to-use fire blanket are non-negotiable.
